2. Disconnect connector (3) fuel supply drive.
3. Using an open end wrench, moderately tighten the hose end and compression gauge adapter.
4. Connect an autonomous starter.
5. Connect the diagnostic tool and use it to run the following commands:
- RZ003: "ADAPTATIF MOTOR" (independent starter)
- VP036: "FUEL SUPPLY INHIBITION" (fuel cut off).
6. Rotate the crankshaft of the engine with a starter for 15 seconds, until the arrow of the compression gauge stabilizes, read the compression value.
7. Write down the obtained compression value for this engine cylinder.
8. Similarly, measure the compression in the remaining engine cylinders
Note: The compression value in the engine cylinders must be at least 18 bar.
9. Using the diagnostic tool, run command VP037 "STOP FUEL SUPPLY INHIBITION" (stop fuel shutdown).
10. Disconnect the diagnostic tool and independent starter.
11. Using a wrench, disconnect the compression tester from the connecting hose, and the connecting hose from the engine (from the holes for the glow plugs).
12. Install all removed components in the reverse order of removal.
