Removal and installation
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Using a special station, remove the refrigerant from the air conditioning system.
3. Loosen the bolt of the bracket of the connecting pipeline "expansion valve-intermediate pipeline at the inlet of the expansion valve" from the expansion valve side.
4. Loosen the bracket bolt of the connecting pipe "expansion valve-intermediate pipe at the outlet of the expansion valve" from the expansion valve side.
Caution: To prevent refrigerant leaks, be careful not to damage the (do not deform, twist, etc.) pipelines.
5. Disconnect the pipes from the expansion valve
6. Seal the opened holes with plugs.
7. Remove the expansion valve.
Installation
Attention:
- Remove the plugs from each component at the very last moment, just before installing them. Also remove components from their packaging just before installing them.
- To avoid leaks, ensure that all seals and pipe surfaces are in good condition, clean and free of cracks.
1. Clean the surfaces of the refrigerant pipes.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.
3. Using a special station, fill the air conditioning system circuit with the required amount of refrigerant and compressor oil.
4. Check the tightness of the air conditioning system circuit.
5. Check the functionality of the air conditioning system.
