Removal and installation of the condenser
Removing the capacitor
1. Place the vehicle on a two post lift.
2. Using a special station, remove the refrigerant from the air conditioning system.
3. Remove the front bumper from the car.
4. Remove the cooling fan.
5. Move the radiator/condenser assembly to the side.
6. Remove the air baffle.
7. Loosen the connecting pipe bracket bolt "compressor-condenser" from the side of the condenser.
8. Loosen the connecting pipe bracket bolt "condenser intermediate pipe" from the side of the condenser.
Caution: To avoid refrigerant leaks, be careful not to damage the (do not deform, twist, etc.) pipelines.
9. Disconnect the refrigerant connecting pipes from the condenser.
10. Close the opened holes with plugs.
11. Remove the capacitor from the car.
Condenser installation
Attention:
- Remove the plugs from each component at the very last moment, just before installing them. Also remove the components from the packaging immediately before installation.
- To avoid leaks, make sure all seals and piping surfaces are in good condition, clean and free of cracks.
1. Clean the surfaces of the refrigerant piping.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.
3. Using a special station, fill the required amount of refrigerant and compressor oil into the air conditioning circuit.
4. Check the tightness of the air conditioning circuit.
5. Check the performance of the air conditioning system.
