Removal and installation the fan assembly
Caution: Do not use near pyrotechnic devices (seat belt pretensioners and airbags) heat sources and open flame - pyrotechnic devices may be activated.
1. Block the airbag processor.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
3. Remove the instrument panel.
4. Disconnect the fan connector(2).
5. Press the bar (3) and turn the fan assembly a quarter turn counterclockwise.
6. Remove the fan assembly.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Cleaning the fan assembly
1. Remove the fan assembly from the vehicle's ventilation system distribution block.
2. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove foreign objects from the fan assembly.
3. Install the fan assembly back into place.
