Removal and installation

Removal, left side

1. Block the airbag processor.

2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

3. Remove the driver's airbag.

4. Remove the steering wheel.

5. Remove the steering column switches.

6. Move the control panel aside.

7. Clamp the heater core hoses with clamps (Ms. 583).



8. Remove the heater core pipe bracket.

9. Remove the heater core pipe clamps.

10. Move the heater core pipes to the side.

11. Remove the front footwell air duct.

Removal, right side

1. Remove the instrument panel.

2. Move the control panel aside.

3. Remove the front footwell air duct.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
