1. Remove the EGR valve as described above in Chapter Power supply and exhaust systems.
2. Disconnect all tubes from the valve, then pump compressed air through the valve. Note that compressed air must not be passed through the diaphragm of the solenoid unit, as it may be damaged.
3. Install the EGR valve as described in Chapter Power supply and exhaust systems.
