Note. Please note that the final drive oil should not be replaced.
1. Drive the vehicle a short distance to warm up the transmission to normal operating temperature.
2. Park the vehicle on level ground, then turn off the ignition and apply the handbrake. Jack up the front of the vehicle and place it securely on axle stands. Please note that when filling and checking the fluid level, the car must be on level ground. Turn away screws of fastening and remove protection of the engine/transmission.
3. Place a suitable container under the transmission. Remove the drain plug from the transmission pan and allow the fluid to drain completely.
Warning: Be careful not to spill hot liquid on yourself.
4. Clean any metal particles from the drain plug's magnetic insert. The sealing washer should be changed every time the oil is changed.
5. After all the fluid has drained, clean the drain plug threads and the transmission case. Replace the seal before installing the plug.
6. Lower the vehicle to the ground, then fill the transmission with the type and amount of fluid specified in the Specifications.
7. Check the transmission fluid level.
