Pedal 11 (pic. 6.2) clutch, made of plastic, mounted on the same axle with a welded steel brake pedal 5. Axis 9 is fixed with nut 1 in bracket 13 mounted on the front end shield of the body. The clutch pedal returns to its original position by a spring 7. The pedals are mounted on the axle through plastic bushings 4. In case of squeaking or sticking of the pedals on the axle, disassemble and repair the pedal assembly.
You will need keys «at 13» (two).
1. Disengage the bent end of the clutch pedal return spring from the edge of the pedal assembly bracket.
2. Disconnect the clutch release cable from the clutch pedal sector (see «Replacing and adjusting the clutch release cable»).
3. Disconnect from a brake pedal a pusher of the vacuum amplifier of brakes (see «Replacing the vacuum brake booster»).
4. Loosen nut 1 (see fig. 6.2) fastening the axis of the pedals, holding the axis from turning with the second key.
5. Remove the axle from the holes of the pedals and the bracket, alternately removing the remote bushing 3, the brake pedal 5 complete with bushings 4, the remote bushing 6, the spring 7, the remote bushing 8 and the clutch pedal 11 assembled with bushings 4 from the axle.
6. Remove the plastic bushings from the pedal holes. 4. Replace worn or damaged bushings.
7. Reassemble the pedal assembly in the reverse order of disassembly. Lubricate the pedal axle and their bushings with a thin layer of grease. If necessary, install a new clutch pedal return spring.
8. Connect the clutch release cable and brake booster pusher to the clutch and brake pedals, respectively.
