Pedal 11 (figure 6.2) the clutch pedal, made of plastic, is mounted on the same axle as the welded steel brake pedal 5. The axle 9 is secured with nut 1 in bracket 13 mounted on the front shield of the body. The clutch pedal returns to its original position with spring 7. The pedals are mounted on the axle through plastic bushings 4. If the pedals creak or stick on the axle, disassemble and repair the pedal assembly.
You will need the keys "on 13" (two).
1. Disengage the bent end of the clutch pedal return spring from engagement with the edge of the pedal assembly bracket.
2. Disconnect the clutch release cable from the clutch pedal sector (see "Replacing and adjusting the clutch release cable").
3. Disconnect the brake booster pushrod from the brake pedal (see "Replacing the brake booster").

4. Unscrew nut 1 (see figure 6.2) fastening the pedal axle, holding the axle from turning with a second key.
5. Remove the axle from the pedal holes and bracket, alternately removing from the axle the spacer sleeve 3, the brake pedal 5 assembled with the sleeves 4, the spacer sleeve 6, the spring 7, the spacer sleeve 8 and the clutch pedal 11 assembled with the sleeves 4.
6. Remove the plastic bushings from the pedal holes. 4. Replace any worn or damaged bushings.
7. Assemble the pedal assembly in the reverse order of disassembly. Lubricate the pedal axle and their bushings with a thin layer of consistent grease. If necessary, install a new clutch pedal return spring.
8. Connect the clutch release cable and brake booster push rod to the clutch and brake pedals, respectively.
