The position sensor forms a single unit with the accelerator pedal. The accelerator pedal must be replaced together with the sensor.

The vehicle can be equipped with two types of accelerator pedal: with or without a switch at the end of the stroke.

On vehicles equipped with a speed controller/limiter, an accelerator pedal with a switch at the end of the stroke - "Kick-down" is installed.

The switch is used to cancel the speed limit mode if the driver needs to increase it.

Note: It is possible to install a pedal with a switch at the end of the stroke instead of a pedal without a switch. It is prohibited to install a pedal without a switch instead of a pedal with a switch.

Disconnect the wires from the terminals of the battery.

Loosen the pedal mounting bolts and remove the pedal.

Loosen the pedal mounting bolts and remove the pedal.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Connect the wires to the battery terminals.

Note: A faulty accelerator pedal position sensor will cause changes in engine operation at idle or under load conditions.
