Gearbox ratios
Broadcast | Gear ratio | Speed in km/h at an engine speed of 1000 min, and tires with a circumference of 1.92 m |
1st | 2,71 | 10,67 |
2nd | 1,55 | 18,67 |
3rd | 1 | 28,96 |
4th | 0,68 | 42,68 |
Reverse | 2,11 | 13,72 |
Recommended Supplies
Transmission fluid
The AD8 automatic transmission is filled with two volumes of different types of transmission fluid
Transmission fluid type:
- gearbox housing - ELF RENAULTMATIC D2 (D20104) or MOBIL ATF 220D (D20104 or D21412), TEXAMATIC 4011
- differential housing - TRANSELF TRX 75 W 80 W API classification GL5 MILL 2105 C or D
Replacement frequency: every 60,000 km of vehicle mileage without filter replacement
Maintenance frequency - check the level every 10,000 km if there is a minor leak
Threshold speed values at which gear shifts occur, km/h
The values given in the table are the theoretical average speeds at which gear shifts occur. Tolerance±10%
- PL: Accelerator pedal released
- PF: The accelerator pedal is fully depressed.
- RC: Mode switch operation «kick-down».
- A: Threshold values for gear shift speed «economical» mode.
- B: Threshold values for gear shift speed «sports» mode.
Transmission fluid is not drained from the differential housing; it is filled for the entire service life. If the transmission fluid consumption is insignificant, it is necessary to add fluid to the required level
Filling volume, l:
- gearbox housing - 5.7
- differential housing - 1.5
- after draining the transmission fluid - 4.0
Note
- When replacing an automatic transmission, transmission fluid must be poured only into the differential housing.
- In the gearbox housing, you only need to check the level of transmission fluid, since the latter is supplied to spare parts filled with transmission fluid.
