  • The filter is used to filter the transmission fluid and ensure normal operation of the automatic transmission.

Removal


  • Place the vehicle on a 2- or 4-post lift
  • Remove the engine sump guard.
  • Unscrew the plug with a triangular recess for key B. Vi. 1213 (1, Fig. 7.4) and drain the transmission fluid from the gearbox housing.
  • Remove the oil pan.
  • Unscrew 2 bolts and remove the mesh filter (Fig. 7.7).

  • Before installation, clean the tray and magnetic catcher.
  • Check the condition of the oil pan gasket, as well as the drain and inspection plugs.

Installation


  • Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
  • Fill the transmission fluid into the gearbox housing and check its level.
