- The filter is used to filter transmission fluid and ensure normal operation of the automatic transmission.
Removal
- Place the vehicle on a 2 or 4 post lift
- Remove the engine sump protection.
- Unscrew the plug with the triangular socket B. Vi. 1213 (1, Fig 7.4) and drain the transmission fluid from the gearbox housing.
- Remove the oil pan.
- Unscrew the 2 bolts and remove the strainer (pic. 7.7).

- Clean the drip tray and magnetic catcher before installation.
- Check the condition of the oil pan gasket, as well as the drain and inspection plugs.
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- Pour transmission fluid into the gearbox housing and check its level.
