Replacing the air filter element (Renault Logan 1)

According to the manufacturer's recommendation, the air filter element should be replaced after 2 years of operation or after 30 thousand km of mileage (whichever comes first).

Note: The vehicle is equipped with a FRAM air filter element 7 701 047 655.

Note: When operating the vehicle in conditions of increased air dustiness (for example, in a large city) we recommend replacing the filter element more often – after 15 thousand km of mileage.

You will need a Phillips-head screwdriver.



1. Lift up the air filter cover retainer bracket...



2. ...and unfasten the retainer.



3. Unfasten the remaining fasteners in the same way.

Note: The air cleaner cover is held in place by four clips.

4. Remove the five screws securing the air filter cover...



5. ...and take it off.



6. Remove the filter element from the filter housing.

7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
