Engine E7J
1. Remove the mounting bolts from the top of the air filter. Also remove the cover mounting screw (refer to the accompanying illustration).
2a. Release the mounting brackets.
2b. Remove the cover from the top of the air filter housing (refer to the illustrations).
3. Remove the air filter element (refer to the accompanying illustration).
Engine K7M
1. Loosen the screws securing the cover to the air filter housing and remove it (refer to the accompanying illustration).
2. Remove the air filter element (refer to the accompanying illustration).
F3R and F7R engines
1. Release the fastening clips or remove the screws, then remove the cover from the top or side of the air cleaner housing.
2. Remove the air filter element.
Petrol engines
1. Wipe the filter housing, then install the new filter.
Diesel engines
Models without turbocharger
1a. Loosen the side mounting screws.
1b. Loosen the central fastening screw.
1c. Remove the air filter cover (refer to the illustrations).
2. Lift the filter element out of the air filter housing (refer to the accompanying illustration).
3. Clean the inside of the air filter housing and cover, then install the new filter element.
4. Install the cover in the reverse order of removal.
Models with turbocharger
1. Loosen the four mounting bolts and remove the air filter cover.
2. Proceed as described in the paragraphs above.
