1. Remove the mounting bolts from the top of the air filter. Also remove the cover mounting screw (refer to the accompanying illustration).

1. Release the fastening clips or remove the screws, then remove the cover from the top or side of the air cleaner housing.



2. Remove the air filter element.

Petrol engines



1. Wipe the filter housing, then install the new filter.

Diesel engines



Models without turbocharger



Models without turbocharger


1a. Loosen the side mounting screws.

1c. Remove the air filter cover (refer to the illustrations).

2. Lift the filter element out of the air filter housing (refer to the accompanying illustration).



3. Clean the inside of the air filter housing and cover, then install the new filter element.

4. Install the cover in the reverse order of removal.

Models with turbocharger



1. Loosen the four mounting bolts and remove the air filter cover.

2. Proceed as described in the paragraphs above.
