Checking seat belts (Renault Megane 1)

1. Check the condition and presence of abrasions or damage to the woven webbing of the seat belts. Replace damaged belts.

2. If the belts are dirty, wipe them with a damp cloth and a small amount of detergent.



3. Check the tightness of the seat belt mounting bolts and fasteners, and make sure that all fasteners are in place (refer to the accompanying illustration).
