Replacing the air filter element (Renault Sandero 1)

According to the manufacturer's recommendation, the air filter element should be replaced after 2 years of operation or 30 thousand km of mileage (whichever comes first).

Helpful advice: When operating a vehicle in conditions of increased air dustiness (for example, in a large city) we recommend replacing the filter element more often - after 15 thousand km of mileage.


To replace the filter element of K7J and K7M engines, do the following.

You will need a Phillips-head screwdriver.

1. Lift up the air filter cover retainer bracket...

2. ...and unfasten the retainer.

3. Unfasten the remaining fasteners in the same way.

4. Remove the five screws securing the air filter cover...

6. Remove the filter element from the filter housing.

7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

To replace the filter element of the K4M engine, do the following.

6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
