Removal
- Removing the intake manifold-cylinder head cover requires removing the injectors and high pressure fuel lines.
- Install the Mol 1390 universal support under the power unit, placing only its right shoes under the engine, and lower both left unused shoes as low as possible (pic. 4.4).
- Remove the upper casing of the right engine pendulum mount (rice. 4.30)
- Unscrew both clamps securing the pipe (1, fig. 4.38). connecting the intake manifold to the turbocharger engine stop block.
- Remove the eyelet.
- Unscrew the bolts and remove the intake manifold (pic. 4.41).
Installation
Attention. Make sure that the rubber gasket on the intake manifold is installed correctly (pic. 4.40). If necessary, secure it in the socket with a small amount of grease.
- Tighten all cylinder head cover bolts until they touch.
- In the sequence shown in Figure 4.41, tighten the intake manifold-cylinder head cover bolts to a torque of 12 Nm.
- Strictly follow the installation procedure and tightening torques of threaded connections when installing the pendulum support and the high pressure circuit of the injection system.
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal
