Removing
Disconnect at a point (1) throttle cable from the throttle body.
Remove the throttle cable (2) from the intake manifold.
Disconnect:
- block of wires from the air temperature sensor (3),
- intake manifold pressure sensor connector (4),
- connectors (5) ignition coils.
Disconnect the wiring harness (6) on the intake manifold.
Set aside the wiring harness.
Remove the throttle body.
Remove:
- bolts (7) intake manifold mounts
- intake manifold.
If replacing the intake manifold, remove:
- air temperature sensor,
- intake manifold pressure sensor.
Installation
Parts that must be replaced: Intake manifold gasket.
Attention!
- Do not scrape the mating surfaces of the aluminum parts, as any damage caused by the felling may result in fuel leaks.
- To ensure sealing, mating surfaces must be clean, dry and free of oil (don't touch them with your fingers).
Wipe with surface cleaner:
- a nest for each intake manifold gasket, if it is reused,
- the mating plane of the lining of the injector bodies.
Install new intake manifold gaskets.
When replacing the intake manifold, install:
- air temperature sensor,
- absolute pressure sensor.
Install:
- intake manifold,
- intake manifold bolts.
Torque tighten the intake manifold mounting bolts in the order shown (9 Nm).
Install the throttle body with a new gasket.
Connect the wiring to the intake manifold:
Attach:
- ignition coil connectors,
- intake manifold pressure sensor connector,
- air temperature sensor connector.
Install the throttle cable to the intake manifold and throttle body.
