Air supply nozzles
Air intake is carried out on the sides of the external rear-view mirrors and on the inner panels of the front door pillars. Air is supplied to the vehicle interior as follows:
- through the fixed ventilation openings to the windshield, side windows, front door windows and footwells. located both in the front and rear of the cabin;
- through controlled side and central ventilation grilles. These ventilation grilles, depending on the position of the adjustment wheel, can change the amount of air passing through them.
The air flow is directed into the cabin through two ventilation system filters and two centrally located fans. Before reaching the vents (windshield blower nozzles and side ventilation nozzles), the air passes through the heater radiators and heats up. Only cold air passes through the central ventilation nozzles.
Controls
Pulse type controls (The system operating mode is activated by briefly pressing the corresponding key), excluding temperature controller (rotary type) and air regulator. In the basic version (without air conditioning) air is constantly supplied to the ventilation nozzles. To stop the access of outside air into the cabin, all nozzles must be closed.
Heating control unit, driver's side: 1 - defogging/defrosting key; 2 - key «summer»; 3 - key «winter/mid-season with defogging»; 4 - key «winter/mid season»; 5 - temperature adjustment knob; 6 - control lamp; 7 - knob for adjusting the amount of air supplied to the cabin; 8 - air conditioning (depending on equipment); 9 - air recirculation key
Key (1) defogging/defrosting
When you press the button for the first time, the usual system for protecting the glass from fogging and defrosting is activated. in this case, the entire air flow is directed to the windshield, side windows and front door windows. When you press the button, the left indicator lamp lights up
Key (2) «summer»
The air flow is directed only to the central and side ventilation nozzles. When you press the key, the indicator lamp lights up
Key (3) «winter/mid-season with defogging»
The air flow is distributed between the glass heating nozzles (to prevent fogging and freezing) and openings for heating the feet of the driver, front and rear passengers. When you press the key, the indicator lamp lights up.
Key (4) «winter/mid season»
The main air flow is directed to the feet of the driver, front and rear passengers; a small amount of air is directed to the heated glass nozzles. When you press the key, the indicator lamp lights up.
Pen (5) temperature adjustment
The control knob is turned to the left; the heater radiator is isolated from the air flow - the position of the lowest temperature.
The control knob is turned to the right, the air flow passes completely through the heater core - the highest temperature position. Between these two extreme positions, the mixing of warm and cold air is determined by the position of the control knob
The knob regulates the temperature on the driver and front passenger sides when the warning light is on (6) or only on the driver's side if the passenger's control panel is activated. To deactivate the passenger side control panel, press one of the air flow distribution buttons 2-3-4 for 2 seconds. In addition, the passenger side control panel is deactivated automatically when the defog/defrost mode is selected (1).
Pen (7) adjusting the amount of air supplied to the cabin
To increase the amount of air supplied to the cabin, you need to move the knob to the right.
When the handle is set to the extreme left position, there is no air supply to the cabin
