When cleaning the carburetor or disassembling it for repair, replace all seals and washers. Clean the inner surface of the float chamber with gasoline and wipe with a non-fibrous cloth. When repairing a carburetor, observe the following precautions:
A) Never clean with needles, wire, etc. jet channels, or other holes, as this may interfere with the calibration.
b) When replacing a jet, a jet of the same diameter is always installed. Installing a larger diameter jet on the engine does not lead to an increase in performance, acceleration, etc., if the other jets also do not change. The desired results can only be achieved by checking the engine on a test bench.
With) To replace carburetor parts, use only those recommended by the manufacturer.
d) Do not handle aluminum parts with sharp objects. Do not use too much force when tightening the bolts. Before tightening the bolts, make sure that they fit exactly into the screw holes. The aluminum threads are easy to rip off, and not completely closed surface allows air to enter, which affects idling.
e) To remove the jets, use only a screwdriver with a sharp blade. The jet channels must not be damaged.
j) When removing the float, do not deform its tongue, as this will affect the installation of the float. Set the float aside. To check the needle valve, slide the valve into the seat and purge the fuel supply pipe. Air is not supposed to pass. After releasing the valve, the air should flow freely.
