The air filter is equipped with a thermostat. To replace the air filter element, unscrew the wing nut of the filter cover, remove the cover and take out the used replacement element. Assemble in the reverse order.
To completely remove the air filter, remove the air hose clamp of the intake air duct pipe in the carburetor, remove the clamping band and disconnect the warm air hose from the filter. Take out the air filter. Install in the reverse order.
The air filter element must be changed every 20,000 km.
