This is a two-chamber carburetor with sequential switching on of the mixing chambers with a slow opening of the throttle valve of the second chamber. The device dosing an additional amount of fuel at start-up is partially opened by air pressure.
Distinguishing features of these carburetors include a cam-driven accelerator pump, a float chamber vent valve, and a coolant-heated carburetor mounting flange.
