Fuel filter (Renault Espace I)

The fuel filter is installed on the fuel line between the fuel pump and the carburetor and should be changed every 20,000 km. When replacing the filter, clamp the fuel hoses that go to it to prevent fuel from leaking. Remove the clamps from the hoses and disconnect them from the filter. When installing a new filter, make sure that the arrow marking the filter points to the side where the carburetor is installed. Put on and tighten the clamps on the hoses and remove the clamps. The filter is self-ventilating.
