2. Before removing the pump, disconnect the fuel lines and clamp their ends properly.
3. Loosen the pump mounting bolts and remove the pump.
4. The filter screen to be cleaned is located at the top of the pump.
5. If the fuel pump is disassembled, mark both parts of the crankcase in advance so that they can be reassembled in the same way.
6. The pressure can be measured on the installed pump, while it is recommended to pinch the fuel line with clamps (see illustration).

7. Connect a short transparent hose to the fuel return line connection. Make sure the hose is not kinked.
8. On the other side of the hose, connect a pressure gauge so that it is next to the pump and the hose is S-shaped. The fuel level in the transparent hose must be equal to the fuel level in the pump. Only in this position can the static pressure be accurately measured and should correspond to 0.27 - 0.32 bar. Moving the hose or pressure gauge affects the measurement results.
