- Engine coolant pump type «WITH» and on the engine type «F» driven by a V-belt.
- The coolant pump is maintenance free. However, it may be leaky or make crackling noises that indicate a bearing failure.
Removing the coolant pump
1. Relieve excess pressure in the cooling system by unscrewing the expansion tank cap.
2. Remove the lower radiator hose, drain the coolant.
3. Engine type «WITH»: Disconnect all coolant hoses from the coolant pump.
4. Turn off a collar and bolts of fastening of the generator and remove V-belt.
5. Remove a collar of fastening of the generator.
6. Turn off bolts of fastening of the pump of a cooling liquid from a head of the block of cylinders.
7. Disconnect the coolant pump from the block head, if necessary tap on it with a wooden mallet.
8. Engine type «F»: Remove the three coolant pump pulley bolts.
9. Remove the V-belt, see Generator.
10. Remove the V-belt pulley.
11. Unscrew nine bolts of the pump of a cooling liquid and wring out it from the engine.
12. Engine type «WITH» and motor type «F»: before installing the coolant pump, which is carried out in the reverse order of dismantling, carefully clean the mating surfaces of the engine housing and the coolant pump.
13. Install a new gasket. Tighten the coolant pump bolts to 20 Nm.
14. Warm up the engine and make sure the cooling system is tight.
