Cooling system
Malfunction | Her reason | Debugg |
A. Temperature gauge pointer (depending on modification) is in the shaded area or the coolant temperature warning lamp is on. | 1. V-belt is too tight or broken. 2. Not enough coolant in the cooling system. 3. Temperature sensor wire shorts to ground. 4. The thermostat does not open, the coolant does not enter the radiator (radiator cold). 5. The fan of the engine cooling system does not turn on. 6. Faulty expansion tank cap pressure reducing valve. 7. The space between the cooling plates of the radiator is clogged. | Check V-belt tension or replace belt. You need to add coolant. Disconnect the temperature sensor wire, the arrow should return to zero, the coolant temperature control lamp should go out. If this does not happen, then check the wire along the entire length. Replace the thermostat locally or have the machine towed to a workshop. See Engine cooling fan. Check the valve, cover gasket, if necessary, replace the cover completely, clean the radiator. |
B. The arrow of the temperature sensor creeps up - the engine heats up very slowly. | The thermostat does not close completely, the heated coolant enters the radiator too early. | Clean thermostat, replace if necessary. |
IN.The arrow of the temperature sensor remains in the lower zone, the heating is good. | Temperature sensor defective. | Replace temperature sensor. |
