Removal
1. Open the hood and fix it in this position.
2. Disconnect the washer hose from the right side of the hood.
3. Use a pencil or marker to trace around each hood hinge to make installation easier.
4. With the help of an assistant, unscrew the left and right hinge bolts and carefully remove the hood from the car.
5. Inspect the hood hinges for wear and replace them if necessary.
Installation and adjustment
1. With the help of an assistant, align the hood with the hinges. Install the mounting bolts and tighten them by hand. Align the bolts with the marks made during removal, then tighten them securely.
2. Close the hood and check its centering relative to the adjacent body panels. If necessary, loosen the hinge bolts and move the hood along the elongated slots in the desired direction. Once the hood is centered, tighten the hinge bolts.
