Removal
1. Set the handbrake, then jack up the front of the car and place it on axle stands. Remove the front wheels.
2. Remove the screws securing the front wheel arch liners to each end of the bumper.
3. On models with fog lights, trace the wiring to the connector and disconnect it from the main wiring harness.
4. On models with headlamp washers, release the retaining clips and disconnect the washer hoses.

5a. Unscrew the bolts securing the left and right ends of the bumper.

5b. Then remove the two bolts securing the rear of the bumper to the subframe (refer to the illustrations).

6a. Loosen the central mounting bolt at the top of the bumper.

6b. Then, with the help of an assistant, release the ends of the bumper and pull it forward (refer to the illustrations).
7. Inspect the bumper mounts for damage and replace them if necessary.
Installation
1. Perform installation in reverse order.
