- wash the brushes, windshield and rear window regularly with soapy water;
- do not use the brushes if the windshield or rear window is dry;
- Disconnect the wipers from the windshield or rear window if you do not use them for a long time.
Attention: When the outside temperature is below zero, make sure that the wiper blades do not freeze to the glass, as this can lead to overheating of the wiper motor.
- Check the condition of the brushes. They should be replaced as soon as you notice deterioration in glass cleaning performance (about once a year).
When replacing the brush, when you pull it out, make sure that the lever does not fall on the glass, otherwise the glass may break.
Windshield wipers
- With the ignition off, raise the wiper arm (3).
- Rotate the brush to a horizontal position (in direction A).
- Click on the latch (2) and slide the wiper blade down until the hook is released (4) wiper arm (movement D).
- Move the brush (in direction C), then pick it up (in direction B) and remove.
The brush is installed in the reverse order of removal. Check up reliability of fastening of a brush on the screen wiper lever.
Replacement of brushes of cleaners of back glass
- With the ignition off, raise the wiper arm (5).
- turn the lever (6) until resistance appears.
- Remove the brush by pulling on it (in direction E).
