- wash your wipers, windshield and rear window regularly with soapy water;
- do not use wipers if the windshield or rear window is dry;
- remove the wipers from the windshield or rear window if you are not using them for a long time.
Caution: When the outside temperature is below zero, make sure that the windscreen wiper blades are not frozen to the glass, as this may cause the windscreen wiper motor to overheat.
- Monitor the condition of the brushes. They should be replaced as soon as you notice a deterioration in the quality of glass cleaning (about once a year).
When replacing the wiper blade, when you pull it out, make sure that the lever does not fall on the glass, otherwise the glass may break.
Windscreen wipers
- With the ignition off, lift the windscreen wiper lever (3).
- Rotate the brush to a horizontal position (in direction A).
- Press the lock (2) and slide the wiper blade down until the hook (4) of the wiper arm is released (d movement).
- Move the brush (in direction C), then lift it up (in direction B) and take it off.
The installation of the brush is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Check the reliability of the attachment of the brush to the wiper arm.
Replacing the rear window wiper blades
- With the ignition off, lift the windscreen wiper lever (5).
- Turn the lever (6) until resistance appears.
- Remove the brush by pulling it (in direction E).
The installation of the brush is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Check the reliability of the attachment of the brush to the wiper arm.
