- mechanical damage.
On rubber-metal hinges are not allowed:
- signs of aging, cracks;
- one-sided buckling of the rubber array.
Replace defective parts.
Check for mechanical damage (deformations, cracks, etc.) suspension elements.
1. When checking, carefully inspect...
2.... rubber bushings of the lower hinges...
3.... pillows of the upper hinges of shock absorbers...
4.... shock absorbers (fluid leaks and «sweating» not allowed)...
5....rubber-metal hinges (silent blocks) fastening the rear suspension beam to the brackets on the body.
6. Check up also bearings of naves of back wheels, a spring and the buffer of compression.
Note. Pay attention to the exhaust system. Extraneous knocks published by her are often mistaken for a knock in the rear suspension. The use of non-standard parts or a break in the silencer suspension elements can cause a strong knock, especially when re-gassing. To check, stop the engine, carefully inspect the exhaust system, check the reliability of the mounting and suspension of the muffler. Grasping the end of the exhaust pipe, shake the muffler up and down and from side to side - there should be no knocking.
