1. The transmission oil must be changed every 60,000 km, and the oil level must be checked every 20,000 km on all petrol models and every 15,000 km on diesel models. The oil level plug is located on the side of the gearbox (see illustrations). After removing the plug, place your index finger in the hole. If you reach the surface of the oil, the oil level is normal. If necessary, add oil with an oiler until oil appears from the hole. For topping up, you can also use a hose, inserting it at one end into the filling hole, and insert a funnel into its other end.
2. If there is no oil in the gearbox at all, fill in the oil specified in Specificationsthe amount of oil. Pay attention to the filling volume for 4-cylinder models and V6 models.
3. The removed gearbox can be filled with oil before installation, since oil leakage is prevented by the installed oil seals.
