1. The transmission oil should be changed every 60,000 km, in addition, the oil level should be checked every 20,000 km on all petrol models and every 15,000 km on diesel models. The oil level check plug is located on the side of the gearbox (see illustrations). After removing the plug, place your index finger in the hole. If you can reach the surface of the oil, the oil level is normal. If necessary, add oil using an oil can until the oil appears from the hole. You can also use a hose to add oil, inserting one end of it into the filler hole and inserting a funnel into the other end.

2. If there is no oil in the gearbox at all, fill it with the oil specified in Specificationsamount of oil. Please note the filling volume for 4-cylinder and V6 models.

3. The removed gearbox can be filled with oil before installation, since the installed oil seals prevent oil leakage.
