1. The oil filter is most easily removed from the underside of the vehicle, with the front of the vehicle firmly secured to the axle stands. Use a belt wrench to remove the filter. Otherwise, you can use the skin. Press its rough surface against the walls of the filter, and unscrew the filter with both hands. Make sure the filter O-ring is also removed, as it may remain in the groove of the cylinder block. Disconnect the battery before removing the filter.
2. Lubricate the sealing ring of the new filter and install the filter on the cylinder block. From this position, turn the filter a quarter of a turn by hand.
3. Unscrew the filter again and tighten it again until the sealing ring fits snugly against the cylinder block. From this position, screw the filter in another three quarters.
4. If necessary, add oil to the engine.
5. Filter connection is not the same for all engines.
