Removing
Place the car on a two post lift.
Remove the engine undertray and right front wheel.
Remove the accessory drive belt.
Install the clamps on the inlet and outlet pipes of the power steering pump.
Remove the hose clamp from the pump.
Disconnect the supply pipe.
Loosen the high pressure pipe fitting on the pump.
Remove the high pressure line from the pump.
Install plugs on the piping and power steering pump to prevent contamination of the system.

Remove the three mounting bolts to the multifunction bracket and remove the power steering pump (pic. 5.24).
Installation
Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
Torque tighten:
- power steering pump mounting bolts (21 Nm);
- high pressure pipe fitting on the steering gear (21 Nm).
Attention! Torque tighten first the two mounting bolts on the accessory drive belt side, and then the bolt on the opposite side.
Attention! The removed belt must be replaced.
Attention! Together with the belt, also replace the tension and bypass rollers.
Fill the power steering system with oil (ELFRENAULTMATIC D2).
Bleed the air from the system by turning the steering wheel from one end to the other with the engine off.
Bleed air from the system by turning the steering wheel from one end to the other while the engine is running.
Top up the oil level in the reservoir.
Make sure there are no leaks.
Install the engine undertray.
