Draining the engine oil and removing the oil filter
1. Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
2. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the engine protective pan.
3. Remove the oil filler cap (1) and the dipstick (2).

4. Place a drain pan under the engine to collect the engine oil.
5. Using a special key, remove the drain plug (3) from the oil pan.

6. Drain the engine oil from the engine into a pre-prepared pan.
7. Using a special key for removing the oil filter (diameter 76 mm) (Mot. 1329) remove the oil filter (4) from the engine.

Installing the oil filter and filling the engine with oil
Caution: Be sure to replace the oil filter and its gasket with new ones every time you change the engine oil.
1. Using a cleaning agent, clean and degrease the mounting surfaces of the oil filter.
2. Lubricate the oil filter seal with clean engine oil.
3. Install a new oil filter.
4. Screw in the oil filter until it contacts the surface.
5. Tighten the oil filter using a special key (diameter 76 mm) (Mot. 1329).
6. Install the new seal onto the drain plug thread, with the groove facing the plug.

7. Install the threaded plug into the drain hole.
8. Lower the car to the ground.
9. Fill the engine with motor oil.
10. Wait at least 10 minutes.
11. Install the filler cap.
12. Install the oil dipstick.
13. Check the engine oil level using the dipstick.
14. If necessary, adjust the engine oil level.
15. Further installation of components is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
