Draining the engine oil and removing the oil filter
1. Place the vehicle on a two post lift.
2. Unscrew the fastening bolts and remove the engine protective tray.
3. Remove the oil fill cap (1) and oil dipstick (2).
4. Place an engine oil pan under the engine.
5. Using a special key, remove the drain plug (3) from the oil pan.
6. Drain the engine oil from the engine into a pre-prepared pan.
7. With a special wrench to remove the oil filter (diameter 76 mm) (Mot. 1329) remove oil filter (4) from the engine.
Oil filter installation and engine oil filling
Caution: Be sure to replace the oil filter and its gasket with new ones every time the engine oil is changed.
1. Use a cleaning agent to clean and degrease the oil filter mounting surfaces.
2. Lubricate the oil filter seal with clean engine oil.
3. Install a new oil filter.
4. Screw in the oil filter until it contacts the surface.
5. Tighten the oil filter with a special wrench (diameter 76 mm) (Mot. 1329).
6. Install a new seal on the drain plug, aligning it with the groove towards the plug.
7. Install the screw plug in the drain hole.
8. Lower the car to the ground.
9. Fill engine oil into the engine.
10. Wait at least 10 minutes.
11. Install filler cap.
12. Install the oil dipstick.
13. Check the engine oil level in the engine with a dipstick.
14. If necessary, correct the engine oil level.
15. Further installation of components is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
