Recommendations. Use engine oil that meets ACEA A2 or A3 or API SJ, viscosity grade 15W40, 10W40, 5W40, 15W50, or 5W50 (depending on climatic conditions).
Attention! Before checking the oil level after a trip, stop the engine and wait 5-10 minutes until the oil drains into the sump.
Add oil of the same brand, viscosity and quality class as the one used previously.
The oil level in the engine crankcase must not exceed the upper mark on the indicator, otherwise there may be leaks through gaskets and seals, increased oil consumption.
Check the level with the vehicle on a level surface.
Pointer (probe) 1 oil level and oil filler plug 2 are located on the right side of the engine compartment next to the air filter.
1. Take out the pointer (probe)...
2....wipe with a clean cloth and reinsert.
3. Remove the pointer again (probe). The oil film level must be between the lower («MIN») and top («MAX») index marks. If the oil level approaches or falls below the lower mark, add oil.
4. To add oil, turn the oil filler plug counterclockwise and remove it.
5. Fill engine oil (use a funnel if necessary), controlling its level with the help of a pointer. Before removing the pointer, wait 2-3 minutes to allow the oil to drain into the crankcase.
6. After the oil level reaches the required level, reinstall the filler cap.
Attention! If, after running in the car, the oil consumption exceeds 0.5 liters per 1000 km, you must contact the service station.
