Recommendations: Use motor oil that meets the European ACEA A2 or A3 standard or the API SJ standard, with a viscosity grade of 15W-40, 10W-40, 5W-40, 15W-50 or 5W-50 (depending on climatic conditions).
Warnings:
- Before checking the oil level after a ride, turn off the engine and wait 5-10 minutes for the oil to drain into the pan.
- Top up with oil of the same brand, viscosity and quality class as the one used previously.
- The oil level in the engine crankcase should not exceed the upper mark on the indicator, otherwise leaks through gaskets and seals and increased oil consumption are possible.
- Check the level by placing the vehicle on a flat, horizontal surface.
The oil level indicator (dipstick) A and the oil filler plug B are located on the right side of the engine compartment next to the air filter.
Note.
On the K4M engine, the oil level indicator (dipstick) B is located on the left side of the engine compartment, and the oil filler plug A is on the right side.

1. Remove the pointer (feeler)...
2. ...wipe with a clean cloth and put it back in place.
3. Remove the pointer (dipstick) again. The oil film level must be between the lower (MIN) and upper (MAX) marks on the indicator. If the oil level approaches the lower mark or is even lower, top up the oil.
4. To add oil, turn the oil filler cap counterclockwise and remove it.
5. Fill the engine with oil (use a funnel if necessary), checking its level with the help of the indicator. Before removing the indicator, wait 2-3 minutes to let the oil drain into the crankcase.
6. Once the oil level reaches the required level, replace the filler cap.
Warning: If after running in the vehicle the oil consumption exceeds 0.5 l per 1000 km, you should contact a service station.
