To keep your car in good working order for a long time, we recommend that you carry out complex maintenance work at a service station even after the warranty period has expired.
In this section, vehicle maintenance work is divided into two groups: daily maintenance and scheduled maintenance. Daily maintenance includes work performed by the driver before leaving, as well as washing the vehicle and cleaning the interior. Scheduled maintenance includes work performed after a certain mileage or after a certain time. A more precise division of work by time and mileage is provided in the service booklet included with the vehicle, as well as in Table 4.1.

Safety regulations
Warning. The rules given here are not exhaustive, as it is impossible to foresee absolutely all dangerous situations that may arise during vehicle maintenance. Therefore, when performing work, be guided by common sense, be careful and cautious.
1. Any repair or maintenance work on the vehicle must be carried out in a spacious, well-ventilated and well-lit area.
2. Workshop equipment (lifting mechanisms, machine tools, power tools) must be specially adapted to perform repair operations on the vehicle (for example, to power portable lighting devices, it is advisable to use low voltage sources of 36 or 12 V, rather than 220 V).
3. Do not smoke or use open fire in the room where the vehicle, fuels and lubricants, etc. are located.
4. When working with metalworking tools, use gloves - they will protect your hands not only from dirt, but also from scratches and cuts.
5. Perform any work underneath the vehicle wearing protective glasses.
6. For body repairs (putty, painting, sanding) put on a respirator and provide additional ventilation in the room.
7. Work related to the removal and installation of heavy vehicle components and assemblies should be performed with an assistant.
8. Containers with flammable, lubricating and paint materials stored in the workshop must always be tightly closed. Do not allow such materials to be in the spark zone when using metal-cutting tools.
9. Avoid contact with oils (especially worked out), antifreeze and electrolyte on exposed skin. If they come into contact with the skin, wash them off as quickly as possible with soapy water.
10. Do not use gasoline, diesel fuel, solvents, etc. to clean your hands.
11. Remember that improper maintenance of electrical equipment and fuel equipment may cause a fire. If you are not confident in your knowledge of servicing these systems, it is better to contact specialists. If you decide to do the work yourself, strictly follow all recommendations and warnings.
12. Use extreme caution when repairing vehicles equipped with airbags. Do not attempt to repair airbag components yourself (electronic airbag control unit, airbag modules, steering wheel, impact sensors, etc.), as incorrect execution of work may result in the activation of these devices and, as a result, serious injuries. When performing any work in the area of these devices, carefully study all recommendations and warnings.
13. Tools and equipment used in vehicle repairs must be in good working order. Particular attention must be paid to the condition of the insulation of electrical wires.
14. When servicing vehicles equipped with an air conditioning system, do not depressurize the system unnecessarily, since the refrigerant contained in it can cause frostbite if it comes into contact with the skin.
To safely lift a vehicle with a jack, you must do the following.
1. Place the vehicle on a level, hard surface.
2. Before lifting, ask passengers to leave the car, free the car from foreign objects. Remove everything necessary for repair from the trunk in advance (spare parts, tools), since access to a raised vehicle may be difficult or impossible.
3. Install the jack only under the places intended for this purpose. The power elements of the body in these places are specially thickened and have increased strength.
4. Place wheel chocks under the wheels of the vehicle on the side opposite to the side being lifted.
5. To prevent the jack from sinking and being pressed into the ground, place a board under it (20x20x4 cm).
6. Bring the thrust head to the car body. The jack should be perpendicular to the supporting surface.
7. Before raising the car with a jack to the required height, carefully check again that the jack has not tilted to any side.
8. Supports should also be installed only under places specially designed for lifting the car. Place a rubber or wooden pad between the support and the car body.
9. Install the tripod support so that two of its legs are on the side of the car body and one is on the outside.
When using a lift to raise your vehicle, please observe the following safety precautions.
1. When lifting and lowering the vehicle, it is prohibited to be near it to avoid accidents.
2. If there is a danger of the vehicle falling, leave the danger zone immediately.
3. Correctly position the car's center of gravity on the lift to avoid it falling.
4. Take care not to crush your feet with the lift's paws or the car's wheels when lowering.
5. Do not apply excessive force to the lift controls.
6. Only qualified personnel should operate the lift.
7. Do not allow the vehicle to swing excessively on the lift.
8. Install the lift legs only under the places intended for this purpose. The body's power elements in these places are specially thickened and have increased strength.
9. When removing heavy components and assemblies from a vehicle installed on a lift, install additional supports.
