Checking the level and adding oil to a manual transmission (Renault Sandero 1)

You will need a syringe to fill the transmission units.

Notes:

• Fill the gearbox with Elf brand oil with a viscosity of 75W-80.
• No oil change required (just topping up) throughout the entire service life of the gearbox.

1. Unscrew the filler plug, placing a container underneath in case of oil leakage.



2. Check the oil level: it should be at the lower edge of the filler hole.



3. If necessary, add oil using a syringe...

Warning.

Do not pour oil through the gearbox breather hole.

4. ...until it appears from the filling hole.

5. Screw the filler cap back on.
