1. Raise the glass and remove the front door trim (see "Removing and installing the front door trim").

2. Unfasten the retainer (shown in the photo by the arrow) lock switch rods and disconnect the rod from the lock lever.

3. Grasping with your hand (or with pliers if the lock is tightly installed) the bent edge of the switch spring lock, remove the lock by moving it in the direction of the arrow...

4. ...and remove the switch together with the rod from the hole in the outer door panel.

5. If you are replacing the switch, disconnect the rod 1 from the lever of the old switch by turning it in the hole in the switch lever and install it on the new switch. Replace the spring retainer 2 if it is severely deformed or has lost its elasticity.
6. Install the front door lock switch and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal. Before installation, lubricate the switch cylinder cylinder with silicone grease.
