Removal and installation the front door (Renault Logan 1)

You will need: all the tools necessary to remove the upholstery and the front door opening limiter, as well as a 13 mm spanner.

1. Remove the front door trim (see "Removing and installing the front door trim").

2. Disconnect the door opening limiter from the front pillar (see "Replacing the front door opening limiter").

3. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the window lifter motors (see "Replacing the front door window regulator") and the castle (see "Replacing the front door lock").



4. Remove the protective cover of the wiring harness from the hole in the end of the door and remove the harness from the door cavity.

5. If you are not removing the door for replacement, mark the position of its hinges on the door (for example, by tracing the loops along the contour with a felt-tip pen).



6. Holding the door (it's best if an assistant does this), unscrew the two nuts securing the upper and lower hinges to the door and remove the door.

7. Install the front door in the reverse order of removal.
