Idle speed correction depending on the battery voltage and on the balance of electrical energy
The engine idle speed correction compensates for the voltage drop when the consumer of electricity is turned on, if the battery is weakly charged. The correction starts when the voltage becomes less than 13 V. As a result of the correction, the engine speed can be increased to no more than 990 min-1 for F4P engine and 910 min-1 for the K4M engine.
Communication between power steering pressure switch and injection computer
The injection ECU receives information from the power steering pressure switch and can raise the idle speed to compensate for power consumption.
Idling speed is brought to 770 min-1 for F4P engine and 750 min-1 for the K4M engine.
Correction of turns of the idling engine depending on information from an electric heater of a windshield
If the heated windshield is on and the coolant temperature is below 60°C, the idle speed is set to 990 min-1 for F4P engine and 910 min-1 for the K4M engine.
Correction of turns of the idling engine at malfunction of the gauge of position of a pedal of an accelerator
If there is no signal from both conductive tracks of the accelerator pedal position sensor, the engine speed is brought to approximately 2000 min-1 and when you press the brake pedal, the engine goes into idle mode.
Idle speed correction in the event of a malfunction of the throttle valve with servo
In the absence of a signal from both conductive paths of the throttle position sensor, the throttle valve unit switches to the mode of mechanical restriction of the throttle opening. In this case, the engine operates at a speed of 1900-2200 min-1.
Note. After starting a cold engine and idling for a long time, the engine speed may drop sharply for about 80 minutes-1 for F4P engine and 160 min-1 for the K4M engine. This is due to the use of an automatic launcher in the system.
