- There is no radiator for the interior heating system in the faucet cooling system. The coolant is constantly circulated through the radiators of the heating system, which thus participate in cooling the engine.
Filling the cooling system
- Connect the lower hose to the radiator.
- Screw in the coolant drain plug from the cylinder block
- Unscrew the air bleed plugs on the radiator, supply hoses to the radiators of the heating system, at the outlet of the thermostat and on the coolant housing (pic. 3.77).
Pic. 3.77. Location of the air bleeder plug
- Fill the cooling system with coolant through the filler hole of the expansion tank.
- Starting from the lowest one, close the bleeder plugs as soon as coolant flows out of them in a continuous stream.
- Fill the expansion tank to the mark "Maxi"
- Start the engine and leave it running at a crankshaft speed of 2500 min-1.
- After 4 minutes, add coolant to the required level
- Close the expansion tank cap.
Removing air
- Let the engine run for 20 minutes at a crankshaft speed of 2500 min-1 before turning on the fan (ov) radiator (required time for automatic air removal).
- Make sure that the fluid level in the expansion tank is in the area of the mark "Maxi".
- Do not open the bleeder plugs while the engine is running.
- Tighten the expansion tank cap with the engine warm.
