Removal
- Raise the car on a lift so that the wheels hang freely in the air.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the right front wheel, the plastic mudguard covering the engine and the right front wheel
- Remove the timing belt.
- Drain the coolant from the cooling system.
- Remove the bolts and remove the water pump from the engine block.
Installation
- Degrease the mating surface of the water pump.
- Apply Rhodorseal 5661 paste to the mating surface of the water pump, install the pump and secure with bolts, tightening them to the specified torque.
- Further installation of the water pump is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
- Fill the coolant and check the cooling system for leaks.
