Removal
- Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the plastic engine protection mudguard
- Drain the engine oil from the engine.
- Remove the oil pan
- Remove the three bolts and the oil pump drive sprocket.
- Remove the oil pump mounting bolts and remove it.
Installation
- Visually inspect the condition of the oil pump rotors.
- Fill the oil pump with engine oil in the following sequence:
- pour engine oil into the outlet of the oil pump;
- turn the pump shaft until engine oil appears from the filter.
- Install the oil pump in the reverse order of removal, installing a new sealing ring on the oil supply channel.
- Tighten the oil pump mounting bolts to the specified torque.
- Install the oil pan with a new gasket and secure with bolts, tightening them to the specified torque.
- Fill the engine with engine oil and check its level.
