  • Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
  • Remove the three bolts securing the air filter housing.
  • Disconnect the connector from the air temperature sensor.
  • Loosen the clamp securing the air duct to the throttle body.
  • Remove the air filter together with the air duct.
  • Disconnect the connector from the throttle position potentiometer.
  • Disconnect the accelerator cable.
  • Disconnect the oil vapor drain pipe.
  • Using clamps Mot. 453-01, pinch the two throttle body heating hoses and disconnect them.
  • Remove the four throttle assembly mounting bolts.
  • Remove the heat shield located between the throttle body and manifold.
  • Remove the throttle assembly from the engine.
  • Remove the throttle position potentiometer from the throttle assembly.

  • Remove the adhesive pads from the throttle body heat insulating plate and replace them with new ones, but it is not necessary to glue them back on.
  • Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
