Removal

- Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the three bolts securing the air filter housing.
- Disconnect the connector from the air temperature sensor.
- Loosen the clamp securing the air duct to the throttle body.
- Remove the air filter together with the air duct.
- Disconnect the connector from the throttle position potentiometer.
- Disconnect the accelerator cable.
- Disconnect the oil vapor drain pipe.
- Using clamps Mot. 453-01, pinch the two throttle body heating hoses and disconnect them.
- Remove the four throttle assembly mounting bolts.
- Remove the heat shield located between the throttle body and manifold.
- Remove the throttle assembly from the engine.
- Remove the throttle position potentiometer from the throttle assembly.

- Remove the adhesive pads from the throttle body heat insulating plate and replace them with new ones, but it is not necessary to glue them back on.
- Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
