The suspension is the connecting link between the body and the wheels. Through it, the forces acting on the wheels are transmitted to the body. The elements included in the suspension soften dynamic loads, reduce body vibrations, and provide good stability and smooth ride of the vehicle.
The front suspension is MacPherson independent, with lower wishbones, shock absorbers with springs, anti-roll bar and steering knuckles. Springs and shock absorbers connected together form shock-absorbing struts, which are the main element of the suspension, combining the functions of a guide vane and a damping element.
