Removal
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
Unlock the steering wheel.
Remove:
- front wheel on the corresponding side,
- front mudguard.
Loosen the lower suspension arm ball joint mounting nut (3).

Remove the lower control arm ball joint.
Note: If the lower ball joint is jammed in the steering knuckle holder and does not come out, remove the ball joint using the curved lever (4) as shown in the figure.

Remove:
- front and rear suspension arm mounting bolts (8),
- suspension arm.

Installation
Parts that must be replaced:
- front suspension lower arm mounting bolt,
- suspension arm mounting nuts.
Install the lower control arm bolt heads toward the rear of the vehicle.
Install:
- suspension arm,
- the ball joint of the lower suspension arm into its socket.
Tighten to the specified torque:
- front and rear suspension arm to subframe mounting bolts (180 Nm),
- nut for fastening the ball joint of the front suspension arm (62 Nm).
Install:
- front fender liner,
- front wheel on the corresponding side.
Check the wheel alignment angles.
