1. Disconnect the idle speed control valve plugs.
2. Let the engine run for approximately 30 seconds at 2000 rpm.
3. After stabilization of idling, look at the number of revolutions on the tachometer and compare the value obtained with the data in the table.
4. After installing the multi-pin connector of the idle air control valve, the speed should increase by more than 1000 rpm, but then quickly stabilize to the prescribed value.
5. If the speed fluctuates, check all plug connections and test for air sucked in through leaks.
