Removal
Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals, starting with the negative terminal.
Remove the air filter housing.
Remove the throttle body.
Disconnect the manifold pressure sensor and air temperature sensor.

Disconnect the ignition coils (fig. 2.248).
Move the wire harness aside.

Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the intake manifold (fig. 2.249).
Installation
All sealing gaskets must be replaced.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Tighten the intake manifold mounting bolts to the specified torque (9 Nm) in the order shown in Fig. 2.250 (fig. 2.250).
Tighten to the specified torque:
- throttle body mounting bolts (13 Nm);
- air filter housing mounting bolts (9 Nm).
Connect the wires to the battery terminals, starting with the positive terminal.
