Removal
Place the car on a lift.
Remove the engine oil pan guard.
Cut the exhaust pipe.

Unscrew the bolts securing the additional muffler to the cushion bracket and remove the additional muffler (fig. 2.292).
Note: If the suspension cushions are damaged, mark the position of the bracket on the body, then replace the suspension cushion assembly with the bracket.
Installation
Cut the new additional muffler pipe to size.
Install an additional muffler and coupling.
Tighten to the specified torque:
- bolts for fastening the suspension cushion bracket to the additional muffler (8 Nm);
- bolts for fastening the suspension cushion bracket to the body (21 Nm).
Tighten the coupling, relieving the exhaust pipe to align it.
Make sure all exhaust pipe heat shields are present and securely fastened.
Make sure the exhaust pipe does not come into contact with the underbody.
