Removal



Remove the windshield wiper mechanism.

Disconnect the electric motor drive crank.

Unscrew the motor shaft mounting nut and two motor mounting bolts (fig. 7.111).

Installation



Caution: Before installing the windshield wiper drive crank, make sure that the electric motor is installed in a position that corresponds to the original position of the wipers on the windshield.


Set the electric motor to the position corresponding to the original position of the wipers on the windshield.

Install the mechanism on the electric motor.

Tighten the mechanism mounting bolts to the required torque of 8 Nm.

Position the drive crank between the bosses (fig. 7.112).

Tighten the motor shaft nut to the specified torque of 22 N·m.

Install the windshield wiper mechanism.
